Worked as planner, scheduler, and troubleshooter for this large multinational construction and engineering services provider.  Project was a forced outage on a 1.8 GW three unit mine mouth generating plant in Western PA coal fields.  As a result of my efforts and those of my highly professional team, the project was completed 28 days early and with a very favorable outcome for the client utility  Follow-on work was also planned and is expected to finish early and under budget, with incentive bonus for DZNPS.

$6 billion annual volume engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company providing services to operating companies in the energy and natural resource sectors.

 

Senior Project Controls Specialist

Perform scheduling and cost control for large EPC contracts for international projects including large LNG, LPG, Cryogenic storage tanks and Nuclear Power Containment Vessels using Primavera P6 and MS Access software.  Participated in Risk Management processes, Value Engineering, and mentoring of junior engineers.  Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Scheduling and Cost Engineering for Plate Structures segment of this multi billion-dollar annual volume company. Majority of estimating performed using Aspen Icarus Kbase software. Project was large petrochemical plant in Joliet IL Assisted in establishment of cost reporting system for all US operations.

Performed conceptual, preliminary and detailed estimates and estimate validation studies for projects aggregating $75 million dollars. Projects included crude and product tank farms.

Used Risk Analysis techniques to establish project contingencies and risk mitigation plans.

Established database for use in estimating.  Performed cost reporting for thirty-six projects at BP Whiting Refinery

Successfully resolved over three hundred change proposals aggregating over $15MM.
